Michelle Tang
Our Co-Founder and CEO
Michelle Tang specialised in Investment Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), with previous management positions in AIA, Natixis Investment Managers, UBS, and PwC. She achieved the following professional financial qualifications and degrees:-

Michelle Tang brings her Investment Governance expertise to the international fertility profession. Investment Governance is the management framework within which decisions are made, accountability and responsibility are determined. Fertility Governance adds protection to the rights, interests and privacy of Parents and Surrogates. Fertility Governance ensures IMA ART senior management are personally accessible, prepared and responsive.
Further differentiating the firm from other surrogacy agencies, Michelle Tang is also pursuing an Executive Master's in Luxury Management & Guest Experience, from the prestigious Glion Institute of Higher Education. Admission Director and Managing Director remarked it was the first time the university received and enrolled an executive from the fertility and surrogacy field.
Michelle Tang experienced years of personal challenges with infertility and family creation. Turning adversity to strength and courage, Michelle channels her emotions and feelings into helping others through their IVF and Surrogacy journeys.
Michelle’s background in the financial industry, facilitated her guidance and leadership at IMA ART. She established and championed Fertility Governance as a new discipline. IVF and Surrogacy journeys involve multiple parties working together to achieve the same end goal — your baby.
Ron Sonnenberg
Co-Founder & Creative
Ron graduated from Syracuse University, School of Management with a Bachelor of Science in Business Law. Although Ron never practised law, he appreciates and respects the need for carefully crafted agreements and the legal system. Ron will be personally involved in working with our Parents and Surrogates throughout their legal drafting phase.
In his “previous life”, Ron worked for a consumer products trading & manufacturing company in Hong Kong. He was responsible for marketing, sales and company branding.
His job included just-in-time manufacturing, overseeing quality control and responsibility for meeting scheduled shipment dates. This work involved shipping consumer products across the world, ensuring they arrived at their destination(s) on-schedule.
Cross-border and cross-State fertility treatments take time logistics to the next level. Fueled by a deep appreciation for extremely tight deliverable times, Ron keeps a keen and watchful eye for things that could go wrong along the way and oversees the subtleties and details of managing the legal and insurance work in your fertility plan.
