IMA ART is the first white-glove fertility concierge — built for ultra-high-net-worth clients, who demand excellence, absolute discretion and the highest standards.

Founded by Michelle Tang & Ron Sonnenberg

What Is a Fertility Family Office?

IMA ART's Fertility Family Office mirrors the discipline, governance and discretion of a private wealth family office - offering independent guidance, absolute focus, and seamless coordination across a hand-selected network of specialists.

Unlike fertility clinics built for scale, IMA ART's Fertility Family Office is structured entirely around the client. Co-Founders Michelle Tang and Ron Sonnenberg direct every dimension of the journey while remaining physically present - meeting clients upon arrival, accompanying them to clinical appointments, and ensuring seamless support within their private residence or hotel environment. From specialist selection and treatment strategy to legal structuring and oversight, continuity is not delegated; it is delivered in person.

Privacy-First Fertility Advisory Management

At IMA ART Fertility in Beverly Hills, discretion is not a feature — it is the foundation. We do not solicit or publish client testimonials, images, or personal stories. Our CEO and Co-Founder, Michelle Tang, brings top-level compliance, governance, and risk management experience from the international financial industry — privacy is built into our infrastructure.

Our clients include international families, business leaders, and public figures accustomed to the highest levels of service and confidentiality. Many come to IMA ART Fertility after encountering poor communication or avoidable risks with a prior fertility journey. Others seek our white-glove fertility concierge service simply because they want to get it right the first time.

IMA ART's extensive network puts at your disposal the world's top specialists in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Clinical Psychology, surrogate-specific Medical and Life Insurance, newborn Health Insurance, and Reproductive Law. From a customized fertility treatment plan to top-tier clinic placement — we are your personal luxury fertility service, here to help private clients.

End-to-End Surrogacy, Privately Managed

Sourcing a gestational carrier independently exposes you to legal, medical, and emotional risks that may be avoidable. IMA ART Fertility is designed to remove that burden, for families who require both clinical excellence and absolute discretion.

We know from personal experience how much is at stake at every stage of a family building journey. That is why our coordination extends beyond the client — to your partner, your wider family, and your surrogate herself — ensuring every party is supported, informed, and protected from first introduction through the final stages.

Surrogate matching at IMA ART is held to the most rigorous standards in the field. Every candidate is evaluated against American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) guidelines and our own proprietary vetting process — assessing medical history, background, support systems, prior pregnancy outcomes, and the sincerity of their commitment to helping others build a family. We do not compromise on who carries for our clients.

Our network of reproductive lawyers ensures every agreement is structured in accordance with state laws, every protection is in place, and every element of your program reflects your specific circumstances and preferences — not a template.

IMA ART Fertility works with private clients who:

  • Prefer a fully managed, white-glove experience that minimizes uncertainty and ensures every detail is handled with precision.

  • Value privacy, control, and expert oversight throughout a complex and highly sensitive process.

  • Male clients and same-sex couples — who require a structured and supported path to building their family.

  • Are exploring surrogacy as a considered and intentional path to parenthood — whether for medical, personal, aesthetic, or lifestyle reasons.

  • Have experienced prior challenges in their fertility journey and are seeking a more strategic, carefully managed approach.

  • Require access to safe, legal, and well-regulated surrogacy options beyond what is available in their home country.

Our extensive fertility treatment options have been developed to address a wide range of fertility concerns and are tailored to your needs.

Fertility Family Office for Private Clients - FAQ

What follows addresses questions from prospective private clients. Matters of a more personal nature are best discussed in private.

How long does the surrogacy or IVF process typically take?

Timelines vary depending on your specific circumstances, the treatment pathway selected, and surrogate availability. In a private consultation we provide a realistic, honest assessment of your individual timeline.

Can my existing family office work with IMA ART?

Yes. IMA ART can operate as a specialist fertility governance partner to your existing family office structure — providing expert oversight without disrupting the advisory relationships you have in place.

How is my privacy protected?

We never publish testimonials, case studies, family or baby pictures in any medium. Our CEO and Co-Founder's background in international financial compliance underpins a governance framework that treats your information as permanently classified. Access to our client portal is by invitation only.

Do you work with international clients?

Our international client base spans families from across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. We have deep expertise in cross-border fertility, international surrogacy law, and the logistical complexity of overseas intended parents.

Can you coordinate care for same-sex couples and single parents by choice?

We work with all family structures. Our network of fertility specialists, reproductive attorneys, and surrogate coordinators have deep experience supporting same-sex couples, single parents by choice, and individuals whose path to parenthood requires particular legal or medical consideration. California's legal environment is among the most inclusive in the world for assisted reproduction — and we know how to navigate it completely.

What’s the full range of fertility services you offer?

At IMA ART, our extensive fertility treatment options have been developed to address a wide range of fertility issues and are tailored to your individual needs. The fertility concierge we offer are for the following:

  • Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), where sperm from the intended father or a donor is introduced to the uterus through a catheter. Typically, this is the method used in traditional surrogacy.

  • In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), where fertilization happens in a lab rather than the uterus, and then specialists perform an embryo transfer. Typically, this is the method used in gestational surrogacy.

  • Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), where a specialized, harmless needle is used to inject a single sperm into an egg to ensure fertilization. Generally, this method is used when traditional fertilization through IVF becomes difficult. For example, if the intended father or donor has low sperm count or low sperm motility, or if the egg was previously frozen.

  • Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT), where our specialists test the egg, sperm and embryo for genetic abnormalities like Down’s syndrome, Turner’s syndrome and Klinefelter’s syndrome, among others. PGT can allow the intended parents to select the sex and genotype of their future baby, assess risk of birth defects, and reduce the likelihood of miscarriages or complications.

  • Egg Freezing is a fantastic option for women who don’t want to be pregnant right now but want to have a successful pregnancy on their schedule. It’s best to freeze eggs when the woman is between the ages of 20 and 35.

  • Sperm Banks and Egg Donor Banks provide inclusive fertility services to all partners or individuals. Sperm or egg donation services may be desirable for people who are in same sex relationships, women whose eggs are not viable, people whose sperm or eggs have been identified to have a genetic abnormality, or men who have low sperm count or motility. The banks we partner with conduct a series of background checks and meticulous testing for all donors.

We understand that while family-building is the desire and ultimate goal of all of our private clients, the pathway for each of them may be different. This is why we partner with renowned experts and service providers who have mastery of cutting-edge assisted reproductive technology to offer you premium personal care plans.

How should first-time parents evaluate surrogacy providers?

There are two fundamentally different models in surrogacy, and understanding the difference is critical for first-time, and repeat intended parents.

Mass-market surrogacy providers serve most of the market and are structured for scale. They manage high volumes of surrogates and intended parents, rely on standardized screening and processes, and delegate decision-making across large teams. This model prioritizes operational efficiency.

Boutique, ultra-private fertility concierge and surrogacy exists in only one form: Ima Art Fertility. There are no comparable models. As the sole provider of this level of service, it intentionally limits the number of families it serves while remaining fully available to each of them—without exception. Founder-led and deeply personal, it sets a singular benchmark in rigorous surrogate screening and truly bespoke decision-making. Operating with discretion on par with family offices, private banking, and concierge medicine, Ima Art Fertility offers clients direct, unfettered access to its principals at all times—including weekends and holidays—delivering an experience that is not just exclusive, but entirely unmatched.

Surrogacy is not a commodity decision.
