Fertility and surrogacy can become complex long before medical treatment begins.

Choosing the appropriate fertility specialist, understanding reproductive options, coordinating testing and treatment, considering donor conception or surrogacy, engaging reproductive counsel and navigating insurance or international considerations can involve numerous professionals making decisions within their own areas of expertise.

For private clients, the challenge is often not access to expertise. It is bringing that expertise together.

IMA ART provides continuity across the journey. We help clients identify what is required, introduce and coordinate appropriate specialists where needed, and remain engaged as the journey moves from one stage to another.

The result is not a standardized fertility program. Each engagement is shaped around the circumstances of the individual or family.

IMA ART Fertility is an independent, principal-led fertility and surrogacy advisory in Beverly Hills, providing private clients with highly personalized stewardship across complex family-building journeys.

Based in Beverly Hills and working with clients throughout the United States and internationally, IMA ART brings together fertility care, IVF coordination, donor conception, surrogacy, reproductive law, psychology, insurance and other specialist disciplines according to the needs of each journey.

Rather than leaving clients to navigate these different professionals and decisions independently, IMA ART provides a central relationship throughout the family-building journey. Our principals remain personally engaged—advocating for our clients, helping them understand what comes next, coordinating the professionals involved and maintaining continuity as circumstances evolve.

For more complex journeys, IMA ART's Fertility Family Office provides an additional framework for strategic oversight, coordination and Fertility Governance—working directly with private clients or alongside their existing Family Office and advisers.

One Relationship Across a Complex Fertility Journey

Assisted reproduction rarely exists within a single professional discipline.

A reproductive endocrinologist oversees fertility treatment. An embryology laboratory creates and evaluates embryos. Genetic specialists may become involved. Reproductive attorneys advise on legal matters. Psychologists, insurance specialists, donor professionals and surrogacy professionals may each have distinct responsibilities.

For international families, additional questions can arise involving travel, jurisdiction, parentage, nationality and coordination with advisers in more than one country.

IMA ART sits across these moving parts, providing a central point of continuity for the client.

We do not replace the professionals responsible for medicine, law, psychology or other specialist advice. We help ensure that the broader journey remains coordinated around the family undertaking it.

Private Fertility Care

Some clients come to IMA ART before selecting a fertility clinic. Others already have a reproductive endocrinologist or embryos in storage and need assistance with the next stage of their journey.

Depending upon the circumstances, IMA ART can help coordinate fertility consultations, IVF, embryo creation, fertility preservation, genetic testing and donor conception while working alongside the physicians and laboratories responsible for medical care.

Our role is not to practice reproductive medicine. It is to help clients navigate the decisions, specialists and practical considerations surrounding that medicine.

Principal-Led From Beverly Hills

IMA ART's model is deliberately personal and intentionally limited in scale.

We accept a limited number of private clients at any given time, allowing our principals, Michelle Tang and Ron Sonnenberg, to remain directly involved with each client and the professionals surrounding their journey. That selectivity gives us the time to understand not simply the individual appointments or transactions taking place, but how they relate to the client's broader path to parenthood.

For clients traveling to Southern California, that involvement can extend to personal presence during important stages of the journey.

IMA ART's White-Glove Fertility Concierge provides a more detailed explanation of this approach, including principal accessibility, coordination, discretion and support surrounding fertility treatment in Beverly Hills.

Private Surrogacy. Fast Matching. Exacting Standards.

For clients who require gestational surrogacy, IMA ART combines efficient surrogate matching with highly selective qualification and screening. We continuously recruit surrogate candidates while deliberately limiting the number of private client engagements we accept—allowing us to move with purpose without compromising our standards.

For IMA ART, a high-quality surrogate is more than a qualified profile. Candidates must meet our exacting requirements and undergo extensive medical, psychological and background screening, including an in-person home assessment. Our principals also personally know and spend time with the women being considered to carry our clients' children.

Surrogate availability is fluid and matching times cannot be guaranteed. Our approach is designed around something more important: identifying an exceptional candidate efficiently, without lowering the standards by which she is selected.

Fertility Family Office vs. Traditional Family Office

Traditional Family Offices are designed to manage and protect the affairs of families across areas such as investments, tax, legal structures, estate planning, philanthropy and succession.

Reproductive planning requires a very different body of specialist knowledge.

Fertility treatment, embryology, genetic testing, donor conception, gestational surrogacy, reproductive law and psychological considerations fall outside the conventional responsibilities of most Family Offices.

The two models can therefore be complementary.

A Family Office helps protect what previous generations created. A Fertility Family Office helps create the generations that follow.

Working With Your Existing Family Office

Families do not need to choose between IMA ART and their existing advisers.

Where a client already has a Single Family Office, Multi-Family Office, private attorney, wealth adviser or other trusted advisory structure, IMA ART can work alongside those professionals as the specialist resource for fertility and family building.

This allows the existing Family Office to remain focused on the areas in which it has expertise while IMA ART coordinates the reproductive specialists, processes and considerations surrounding the creation of the next generation.

For Family Offices themselves, the relationship also provides a resource when a principal or family member requires fertility or surrogacy expertise that does not ordinarily sit within the Family Office.

For some families, assisted reproduction extends beyond fertility treatment or surrogacy coordination into a broader set of strategic considerations.

Multiple physicians and advisers may be involved. Embryos may be created or stored in different jurisdictions. Donor conception or surrogacy may introduce legal and psychological considerations. International families may need to coordinate reproductive planning with existing legal, family or advisory structures.

IMA ART developed the Fertility Family Office as a specialized form of Family Continuity Advisory for complex fertility and family-building journeys.

The model brings fertility and family-building matters into a coordinated structure, providing strategic stewardship and independent oversight across the professionals and decisions involved.

A Fertility Family Office does not replace the fertility clinic, reproductive attorney, Family Office or other specialist advisor. Its purpose is to provide fertility-specific expertise and continuity across them.

As a fertility journey becomes more complex, individual decisions can begin to affect one another.

The choice of fertility clinic may affect where embryos are created and stored. Surrogacy may introduce questions of jurisdiction and parentage. Donor conception can require medical, legal and psychological considerations. International families may need advice from professionals in multiple countries.

Fertility Governance is IMA ART's framework for bringing greater structure to these interconnected decisions.

It is not medical or legal advice. Rather, it is an approach to ensuring that the appropriate specialists are involved, responsibilities are understood, significant decisions are considered in context and the journey maintains continuity as it progresses.

For families accustomed to structured professional advice in other areas of their lives, Fertility Governance brings that same discipline to one of the most consequential undertakings of all: creating a family.

Discretion by Design

Privacy is fundamental to the way IMA ART works with private clients.

We recognize that a fertility or surrogacy journey can involve sensitive medical information, personal relationships, legal matters and family decisions. For some clients, public profile or professional responsibilities make discretion particularly important.

IMA ART does not publish client testimonials, photographs of clients' children or identifiable client journeys as marketing material.

Our clients determine who knows about their fertility journey. Our role is to respect that boundary.

Family Building Without a Standard Formula

There is no single path through assisted reproduction.

One client may require only fertility coordination in Beverly Hills. Another may need donor conception. Another may already have embryos and require surrogacy. An international family may need several professionals working across different jurisdictions. A Family Office may approach IMA ART on behalf of a principal whose circumstances require specialist fertility expertise.

IMA ART's role changes according to what the journey requires.

What remains constant is a private relationship, principal involvement and continuity across the professionals and decisions involved.
